24h RTVE
A new visual identity for 24 Horas, the news channel of Spain’s public broadcaster,
Radio Televisión Española (RTVE).
The project was commissioned by production company El Exilio, following its successful proposal to rebrand RTVE’s channels.
Creative Concept
The identity takes its rhythm from the channel’s name and its constant flow of news: every second brings a new development. Rather than relying on familiar news imagery, the design translates the passing of time into motion. Information panels and streams of data move with the cadence of each second, while three-dimensional graphics transform that information into shapes, spaces and ever-changing worlds. Time becomes the visual pulse of the channel—felt throughout the identity without the need to show a clock.
The following selection showcases some of the pieces developed from this creative concept.
